Llantwit Major Art & Craft Group’s Annual Exhibition moves to CF61

On Saturday 9th and Sunday the 10th of July, Llantwit Major Arts and Crafts Group are taking over CF61!

The group has existed for many years and host an annual summer exhibition of the work of their members. And after a two year break due to Covid, they are back with their first exhibition since 2019, held for the first time at their new regular meeting place – CF61.

The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge from 10am to 4pm both days, with a very warm welcome extended to all. Most of the items in the exhibition are for sale, including art – from paintings to prints, and crafts - from cards, to textiles.

The local artists and crafters will be available to discuss their projects and tea and coffee will be served for those able to stay a little longer.

The Arts and Crafts Group also welcome new members throughout the year. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month between 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Annual membership is £30 or individuals can come along as a guest for the evening for just £3 a time. The programme is a mixture of workshops, talks and demonstrations, and also practical evenings where everyone brings their own projects to work on.

Chairperson Carol Kinson says:

“We are a friendly, inclusive group with a diverse range of talents and interests, as well as levels of skill and experience. We love to see what others have been working on, to discuss our projects and to share inspiration.”
